Imagine you and your family waking up to deer and sheep grazing on the tree covered hills of the Texas hill country or just having your favorite morning beverage sitting along the waterside dock watching the sun rise over the gorgeous tree- lined Guadalupe River. With scenic views like that, the Summit Vacation and RV Resort is the perfect resort for a family reunion.
In addition to the wonders of nature at the Summit Vacation and RV Resort, family groups of all types may take pleasure in the variety of area activities and the Summit’s many resort amenities.
Some of the amenities for families include water volleyball which is always a great hit during those hot Texas days or, for a little more adventure, your entire family can choose a 2, 4, or 6-hour river floating trip down the famous Guadalupe River.
Additionally, the Summits’ Clubhouse is ideal for family slideshows, movie night, board games, or just “hanging-out”. When night falls, the entire family may rest around our group fire-ring for roasting marshmallows or telling old campfire stories.

The Summit offers a unique range of accommodations which include Guadalupe River cabins, RV sites and Tree Top Villas that can facilitate groups of any size. Our Clubhouse is centrally located around our cabins and amenities which is perfect for family dining. With our fully equipped kitchen, the cooks of the family may showcase your family’s best or favorite recipes.
Getting the entire family together for a few days can often be a challenge. Not a problem, the Summit offers great rates on one day (24-hour) rentals of our clubhouse, pavilion and/or our Riverfront patio (please contact us for rates and availability).
Want to venture out a bit? Canyon Lake is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the resort. The lake has great swimming beaches for all ages, children friendly walking trails and great Texas-sized fishing areas.
Local vendors offer Jet-ski rentals, party boat rentals, horseback riding, wine tours and much more. Our friendly knowledgeable reception personnel are here to guide you and your family in right direction toward a perfect day of things to do.
The Summit Vacation Resort is also a short drive to all of the fun things to do in New Braunfels!

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking.
Payment in full is due 30 days before the event.
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 31+ days prior to the event.
